leaders for the transformation . 16/04/2010

Today in some cities of Bolivia begins the program "Training Leaders for Change" sponsored by the CAF and develop the Idea Foundation and the Bolivian Catholic University.
This is the sixth version, I have had the opportunity to work in just three versions and starting my fourth experience next May 6.
From past experiences I have managed to take a comprehensive look at the reality of this country, where I live six years ago. It is a country full of contrasts, with a strong desire to learn and especially to work on issues of social and environmental. Grade in the work I've seen in recent years, have always excelled ecological issues that highlight a growing intention to improve environmental conditions they are exposed to the leaders participating in the program. The importance of this process is to obtain replicas of each topic under a model of responsibility of participants to their communities, sharing what they have learned and help you reach more people every year.
On the purely human, the experience I've had has allowed me to see people of different races, beliefs and even economies come together in a slow process of transformation, sharing their personal experiences, beliefs, values \u200b\u200band even political ideas to get through the program together, willing to work on issues in a coordinated and vibrating with their achievement.
This is of very high importance, since today Bolivia is faced with a constant tension between different cultures and races, has been charged as a long karma.
is very gratifying for me, and that all my colleagues in this program, see how a human group can be strengthened through shared work and study, provided they have a common goal.
Sometimes I think we have been giving this contribution to the transformation of this country and many others in Latin America, which are within the agenda of the CAF. For this I am very proud to be part of a select group of people who deliver on weekends in an attempt to improve our countries.
